RMC announces reward for sharing advanced technology views on Swachh Bharat

Ranchi, Dec 14: To create advanced technology in the field of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Ranchi Municipal Corporation is going to organise a Clean Technology Challenge under Swachh Survekshan-2022.

Under this challenge, suggestions from the participants will be accepted till Dec 31 and participants will be honoured and given prize money at the state and country level.

At the corporation level, two technologies will be selected and sent for assessment at the state level, 2.5 lakh will be awarded for the first position at the state level, 1.5 lakh for the second place and 1 lakh for the third place.

In this challenge, any technology related to Swachh Bharat Abhiyan can be applied, however, the four main areas predetermined are Social Inclusion, Zero Dump, Plastic Waste Management and Transparency

Clean Technology Challenge will be of 100 marks in which 15 marks will be awarded on salient features of the solution, 15 on technology salient features, 10 on methodology, 20 on business potential, 10 on replicability, 10 on scalability, 10 on implementation time and use of indigenous technology. The remaining 10 marks are not fixed till now.

Swachh Survekshan 2022 is the 7th consecutive edition of Swachh Survekshan, the world’s largest urban cleanliness survey conducted by Swachh Bharat Mission-Urban (SBM-U).
