Ranchi, July 7: The Hatia Railway Protection Force (RPF) on Wednesday arrested two individuals with ganja weighing around 35 kgs on platform number one at Hatia station.

The accused are identified as Naval Kishore Pandey (34) and Vikas Singh (20).

Pandey is a resident of Sasaram, Bihar whereas Singh is from Mirzapur, UP. Both have denied giving any lead regarding from where and to whom they were taking the drug.

The incident took place around 3 pm when the two were spotted by RPF officials carrying two packets of heavy goods. Finding it suspicious, the officials decided to check the packets and found ganja in them.
