Ranchi, Dec 19: The winter session of the Jharkhand Assembly on Monday started with uproar as BJP leaders were seen protesting against the state government and its ‘appeasement policy’.
With placards in their hands, the leaders were noticed protesting against Rubika Paharia’s murder in Sahibganj. They demanded a death sentence for the murder-accused Dildar Ansari.
The BJP leaders were raising slogans against the state government holding it responsible for indulging in the policy of appeasement and ignoring the interest of tribal and innocent people of the state.
Rubika was allegedly cut into 50 pieces after she solemnised marriage to her lover Dildar Ansari but refused to change her religion.
