Jamshedpur, Nov 5: In an attempt to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Chhath festival, South Eastern Railway ( SER ) has decided to run two special trains between Tatanagar-Patna and Ranchi-Thawe.
The festival special train between Tatanagar and Patna will leave Tatanagar on November 6 and November 8. In the opposite direction the train will leave Patna on November 7 and November 9.
The festival special train between Ranchi and Thawe will leave Ranchi on November 6. The return train will leave Thawe on November 8.
The Tatanagar-Patna Special will leave Tatanagar at 9.45 pm and will reach Patna at 1.15 pm the next day. In the opposite direction, the Patna-Tatanagar Special will leave Patna at 3.15 pm and will arrive Tatanagar at 5 am, the next day.
The special train will have one AC 2-Tier, one AC 3-Tier, nine sleeper class and nine general second class coaches and will have stoppages at Purulia and Bokaro Steel City .
The Ranchi-Thawe-Ranchi Special train will leave Ranchi at 8.10 pm and will reach Thawe at 6.10 am the next day. In the opposite direction, the Thawe-Ranchi Special train will leave Thawe at 10.10 am and will arrive Ranchi at 7.10 am, the next day.
The special train will have one AC 3-Tier, six sleeper class and four general second class coaches and will have stoppages at Muri and Bokaro Steel City in SER jurisdiction.
