Ramgarh, Feb 2: Steel Authority of India Limited, SRU Ranchi Road, a Government of India establishment, has demonstrated an outstanding performance in production and transmission in the last month, January 2022.
The unit has dispatched 9328.340 tonnes in this financial year 2021-22 till 31 January 2022, which is the highest ever dispatch in a single financial year.
Apart from this, last month the unit produced 961 tonnes of MCB bricks and masses and dispatched 1295.867 tonnes which is the highest ever production-transmission record in a single month.
Rajiv Kumar Sehgal, Executive Director, SRU has expressed happiness on this excellent performance of SRU Ranchi Road and has congratulated the workers and contract workers of the unit.
He has expressed hope that in the remaining few months of this financial year, the unit will perform more brilliantly and set a record of production and transmission in the year 2021-22.
On this occasion, Chief General Manager Operations of SRU Gyanesh Jha has also congratulated the unit head Anuvind Mohanty and the employees and contract workers of SRU Ranchi Road through a congratulatory message.
There is an atmosphere of joy in the plant on this splendid performance of the unit. On this achievement, sweets were distributed among all the workers and contract workers on Wednesday at SRU Ranchi Road.
Unit chief A Mohanty, who was present on the occasion, while addressing the workers said that this success has been possible due to the hard work and perseverance of the workers of the unit. For this, all the officers-employees and contract workers deserve congratulations.
He expressed confidence that in this financial year there are more challenges of production and communication, which all the workers and contract workers of the unit together will do well to overcome.
Anand Kumar Sinha, Deputy General Manager Personnel and Administration conducted the program and read out the congratulatory message of Chief General Manager Operations.
INTUC leader Khogendra Sao said in his address that I hope the unit will continue to perform well.
