Ramgarh, June 24: Tata Steel West Bokaro Division organized a sapling plantation programme at West Bokaro Police Station on Saturday, on the occasion of Sustainability Month. On this occasion, tree saplings were planted in the police station premises by Balwant Dubey, station in-charge.
The saplings of mango, jackfruit, pomegranate, guava, jamun and other species were planted on the occasion.
The event was organized under Mission Life and in collaboration with Integrated Regional Office, MOEFCC Ranchi, JSPCB Hazaribagh and DFO Office, Ramgarh.
.It is worth mentioning that the month of June is celebrated as Sustainability Month in Tata Steel and various programs are organized throughout the month to create awareness for environmental protection and tree plantation is done at various places.
