New Delhi, Nov.18: The Supreme Court has dismissed the petition of 6 students seeking online board exams on Thursday.
Six students had petitioned in the Supreme Court of India, requesting that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) conduct term 1 exams in hybrid mode.
The case submitted through Advocate Sanjay Hegde was dismissed by a Supreme Court bench of Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice CT Ravikumar, who said it could not be entertained at such a late date.
“…as the exam has commenced on November 16, it will be inappropriate to intervene now and disturb the entire process,” the Bench Noted in the order.
The CISCE, which administers the ICSE Class 10th and ISC Class 12th annual exams, will begin term 1 exams on November 22 and end on December 20, while the CBSE term 1 exams have already begun on November 16 and end on December 22.
