New Delhi, Oct 14: The second flight transporting 235 Indian citizens from Israel arrived at Delhi airport on Saturday morning.
Amid escalating tensions resulting from the Israel-Hamas conflict, the government has initiated “Operation Ajay” to assist those who desire to return to their homeland from Israel.
Arindam Bagchi, the spokesperson for the External Affairs Ministry, reported on Saturday that a second flight carrying 235 individuals had landed in the nation’s capital.
On social media platform X, he also posted images of the passengers.
According to the Kerala government, 33 of the 235 Indians on board the chartered flight AI 140 were from Kerala.
On Friday morning, the first aircraft from Tel Aviv, which was also run by Air India landed in Delhi with over 212 passengers onboard.
