Jamshedpur, April 28: South Eastern Railway (SER) notified stoppage of several trains at Chandil station on an experimental basis for a period of six months.
According to a circular issued by Garden Reach, the Kolkata based headquarters of South Eastern Railway, the 18181 Tatanagar-Thawe Express, journey commencing w.e.f April 28 will arrive at Chandil at 10.28 pm and will depart at 10.30 pm.
The 18182 Thawe-Tatanagar-Express, commencing journey today will arrive in Chandil at 4.58 am and will depart at 5 pm.
The 18185 Tatanagar-Godda Express, journey commencing w.e.f May 1 will arrive in Chandil at 3.13 pm and will depart at 3.15 pm.
The 18186 Godda-Tatanagar Express, journey commencing w.e.f May 2 will arrive in Chandil at 5.28 am and will depart at 5.30 am.
The 12801 Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express, journey commencing w.e.f April 28 will arrive in Chandil at 7.30 am and will depart at 7.32 am
The 12802 New Delhi-Puri Purushottam Express, journey commencing w.e.f April 28 will arrive Chandil at 6.58 am and will depart at 7 pm.
Railway officials said that based on the response and revenue earning from ticket sales the trains might have a regular stoppage at Chandil in the days to come.
