Mumbai, Oct 6: A fire that erupted in a building in Mumbai’s Goregaon during the early hours of Friday resulted in the loss of seven lives and left 39 individuals injured, officials stated.
“A total of 46 people are reported injured in the fire that broke out at the G+5 building in Goregaon, Mumbai. Of them, 7 succumbed to their burns,” Brihan Municipal Corporation (BMC) stated.
Officials informed that the fire, which started at approximately 3 am in Jay Bhavani building on MG Road near Azad Maidan, was categorized as Level 2.
39 injured individuals are currently receiving medical treatment at HBT and Cooper Hospital.
