Six die after SUV falls into well in Hazaribag

Hazaribag, July 4: Six died after an SUV fell into a well near Romi Bangla of Padma block on Tuesday. The incident took place after the SUV collided with a bike head-on.

Eyewitnesses said Suryapura Panchayat Mukhiya was going somewhere on his two-wheeler when an SUV came in front of it. In order to save him, the driver of the SUV tried to steer the vehicle but it hit the bike. The speeding vehicle jumped and fell into a well.

A total of six people in the SUV died and three were rushed to Sheikh Bhikari Medical College and Hospital. All dead ones were residents of Mandai in town. The condition of Sitaram is also critical. The deceased included four males, one woman and a minor girl.
