Sonia invites CM to attend Opposition meet
Lagatar24 Desk: Congress leader Sonia Gandhi is likely to chair a meeting of the opposition leaders on August 20 for which CM Hemant Soren has been invited. According to sources, the CM is likely to visit Delhi for the meeting.
The meeting aims at uniting the opposition and formulation of strategy for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha election against the BJP.
According to sources, there should be a meeting between Hemant Soren and other political parties on many issues related to the 2024 Lok Sabha election. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin and Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray will also be the part of meeting on August 20.
Hemant Soren has already told in a virtual meeting held in 2020 that this is the time for all the opposition leaders to get united and raise their voices against the BJP to strengthen their hold in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
