Ranchi, June 15: Police officials have been directed to be extra cautious during the Mandar by-election keeping June 10 violence in their minds.
SP (rural) gave the direction after a crime meeting on June 14 at the Indian Institute of Hotel Management, Brambe.
As a part of precautionary measures, the direction has been given to check the CCTV installed at temples and mosques and take steps in case of malfunctioning of the camera.
The police officials have been asked to pay attention to those released from jail within the last year and continue raids to prevent people from assembling at a place unnecessarily.
