Mumbai, Nov.29: The much awaited movie, Spider-Man: No Way Home, will now be released in Indian theatres on Thursday, December 16, a day sooner than previously planned. Sony Pictures Entertainment India on Monday, announced the revised release date on its social media accounts, but gave no rationale for the change. This is wonderful news for Spider-Man fans in India, as it cuts the wait time in half.

This would put Indian audiences in the spotlight. In certain regions, including Finland, France, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Russia, South Korea, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released on December 15th. Spidey fans in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, and Ukraine will be pleased to learn that the new Spider-Man film will be released on December 16 in India.
In the United States, Canada, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Spain, and Turkey, it will be released on December 17th.
The movie will not be released in Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia until Thursday, December 23. In Japan, the new Spider-Man film will be released on January 7, and in the Philippines on January 8.
Tom Holland reprises his role in Spider-Man: No Way Home as the titular superhero, alongside Zendaya as his girlfriend MJ, Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange/ Doctor Strange, who serves as Peter Parker’s new mentor, Jacob Batalon as Parker’s best friend Ned Leeds, Jon Favreau as Stark Industries security chief Happy Hogan, Marisa Tomei as Parker’s aunt May Parker, J.B. Smoove as Parker’s teacher Julius Dell.
Jamie Foxx as Electro (from The Amazing Spider-Man 2), Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus (from Spider-Man 2), Willem Dafoe as Green Goblin (from Spider-Man), Thomas Haden Church as Sandman (from Spider-Man 3), and Rhys Ifans as Lizard will all reprise their roles in the forthcoming Spider-Man film (from The Amazing Spider-Man). There are also rumours about Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s return.
