Dhanbad, June 24: The research paper of Dr Monalisa Saha, Department of Botany, SSLNT Women’s College, Dhanbad, was adjudged the best paper in the Multidisciplinary national seminar which concluded here today.
The two-day national seminar was organized by TOUCAN Research and Development and held in Bengaluru, Karnataka from June 23-24, at SSNT Women’s College, in which 106 teachers from five states, including Jharkhand, Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh had submitted their research papers.
While Dr Monalisa Saha’s research paper got the first prize, papers of Dr Suchitra Mahto of Silli College, Silli, a constituent College of Ranchi University, and Poonam Prabha Mundu of RK Mahila College, Giridih, a constituent unit of Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh, got the second and third prize respectively.
The host college principal, Dr Sharmila Rani appreciated the research papers of all 106 participants and thanked TOUCAN Research and Development, Bengaluru for organizing the national seminar here.

Professors-in-charge Dr Sarita Srivastava, Dr Sunita Tiwari, Dr Priya Madhulika Ekka, Seminar Director KK Mishra, and Organizing Secretary Dr Vimal Minj, played major roles in making the seminar successful. The teachers of different states and colleges highly appreciated the event organized by SSLNT Women’s College, a constituent unit of Binod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University.
