Daltonganj, Dec.3: St Xavier’s College, Mahuadanr today arranged a vaccination drive at the premise of the college on the concluding day of the institution’s decennial jubilee celebration coupled with Yuva Mahotsav.
Principal M K Jose informed that the college has facilitated around 400 vaccinations on the occasion.
DC Latehar, Abu Imran, and local Congress MLA Ramchander Singh graced the ‘curtain down ceremony’ of the 3-day long Yuva Mahotsav.
Notably, St. Xavier’s College Mahuadanr came into existence in the year 2011. It is an affiliated unit of the Nilamber-Pitamber University, Daltonganj.
During the celebrations, the DC and MLA also unveiled an integrated coaching facility for civil services aspirants. They informed that the facility has an intake capacity of 100 aspirants.
“The DC and MLA launched an integrated coaching facility for the students to help them crack the civil services examination. 75 graduates have already enrolled in the coaching,” the principal added.
