Dhanbad Oct 29: The annual conference of the Jharkhand Sanskar Bharti state committee will begin at JK Sinha Memorial School, Nawadih from tomorrow.
Besides the executive members of the committee, representatives of all 24 districts of Jharkhand will be participating in a marathon of meetings followed by a cultural programme based on Indian arts and culture.
The general meeting will start at 3 p.m. tomorrow. Parley members will elect a new committee of office bearers for the next session. Sanskar Bharti National Body Secretary, Ashok Tiwari, will be present as the central observer at the meeting.
Sanskar Bharti state vice-president, Indrajit Prasad Singh, said that besides the selection of office bearers for the new state committee, the delegates will also discuss the development of Indian arts and literature in the region at this meeting.
“The members will also shed light on how to motivate society towards Indian art and culture and make it popular among people,” said Indrajit Prasad Singh adding that a proposal would also be drafted by the delegates to suggest the state government for promotion of arts and culture.
Programme coordinator, Dr. B Jagdish Rao, said that central observer Ashok Tiwari, regional chief Bindeswari Prasad Chourasia, Sanskar Bharti Jharkhand president Gopal Prasad Dubey, executive president Umesh Chandra Mishra, state general secretary Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, secretary Sushil Kumar ‘Ankan’, Neeraj Sridhar and other office bearers will attend this conference tomorrow.
A committee under retired Principal, Prof P Shekhar (Sanskar Bharti town president), has been set up to monitor the arrangements for this event.
