Mumbai, May 11: Suryakumar Yadav, the Mumbai Indians and India batter, has already been declared out for the duration of the IPL 2022. He is expected to be sidelined for at least four weeks.
Suryakumar could miss the South Africa series next month due to a left forearm muscle ailment. After the IPL 2022 concludes on May 29, India will host five T20Is against the Proteas at home from June 9 to 19.
During MI’s match against Gujarat Titans on May 6, the batter was hit on the left arm while taking a run. He awoke the next morning with a swollen arm, which forced him to withdraw from the rest of the IPL 2022 season.
Suryakumar, who scored 309 runs for Mumbai in eight games, including three half-tons, will be away for at least four weeks, according to BCCI sources, according to a Cricbuzz report.
However, the cricketer’s four-week layoff does not necessarily mean he will miss the South Africa series.
