Ramgarh: Acting on specific inputs from Lucknow Military Intelligence, Ramgarh Police carried out a swift, pre-emptive operation and detained a suspicious individual loitering near the main gate of Ramgarh Military Station on September 22, 2026.
Suspect Found with Fake Voter ID, Unable to Prove Identity
According to sources, the detained man has been identified as Sudhir Kumar Sharma, who was found in possession of a fake Voter ID card. When questioned to establish his identity, he was unable to produce any valid identity document or proof of residence. He had reportedly worked earlier as a labourer inside Ramgarh Cantonment and was also engaged in carpentry work.
Investigation Underway by Police and Military Intelligence
Sharma has been taken into custody by Ramgarh Police for further investigation, and a case has been registered under GD No. 024, dated September 22, 2026. Police and Military Intelligence are conducting a detailed joint investigation into the matter.
