Ranchi: The Supreme Court has directed the Jharkhand state government to complete the police recruitment process and issue appointment letters to 437 candidates within four weeks.
Bench Passes Order in Jitendra Sharma vs State Government Case
The order was passed by Supreme Court judges Sanjay Karol and A.G. Masih after hearing the matter of Jitendra Sharma vs State Government. In its ruling, the court noted that it had been informed that, in light of the directions issued on June 3, 2026, medical examinations of 437 candidates had been conducted. The court held that all these candidates should be declared successful in the examination and directed them to complete the document verification process.
