All eyes are now on her next project, Shabaash Mithu, a biopic based on the life of Mithali Raj, the captain of the Indian women’s national cricket team.
On the ocassion of International Women’s Day, Taapsee unveiled a new poster for the upcoming flick.
Taapsee will be seen in the film wearing the blue jersey as Mithali Raj, the captain of the Indian women’s national cricket team. Taapsee shared a new poster for the flick on Instagram today.
Along with the poster, she wrote, “She continues to inspire millions like me. To break a few stereotypes to lay down a new path ahead for many to follow. This Women’s Day I am cheering for the front runners in the fight to #BreakTheBias #ShabaashMithu #ShabaashWomen #shabaashyou (sic).”
Shabaash Mithu is a biopic directed by Srijit Mukherjee. Apart from that, Taapsee has Anurag Kashyap’s Dobaaraa and Pratik Gandhi’s Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan. She was last seen on Netflix in Looop Lapeta.
With the upcoming psychological thriller Blurrr, Taapsee has now taken on the role of producer.
