Jamshedpur, March 2 : Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekeran arrived in rgw steel city this afternoon by a company’s aircraft at the Sonari airport.
He was welcomed by Tata Steel managing director T V Narendran. Senior company officials were also present.
He took part in inauguration of the Integrated Sinter Plant Operation Centre i-SPOC at ITS Building in the afternoon. Chandrasekeran also inaugurated the new Kadma- Sonari Walkers Avenue.
The nearly 2 Km Sonari- Kadma Link Road wore a different look. The walls on both sides of the road were given a fresh coat of paint. Wall paintings were also done by local painters.
Later, in the evening he will also inaugurate the illuminations at the Jubilee Park. Tomorrow he will attend the Founder’s Day function inside the Tata Steel works.
He is also expected to visit Tata Motors plant in Telco where he will pay homage to JN Tata.
