Jamshedpur: Tata Steel has created a 30 feet graffitti of Bharat Ratna JRD Tata on his 117th birth anniversary at JAD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur. The JRD Tata graffitti was unveiled on Thursday by Chanakya Choudhary, Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel, and Sanjeev Kumar Choudhary, President, Tata Workers Union, in the presence of select guests.
Such a robot was used which sprays five colors simultaneously
This mural by JRD Tata has been created by Estonian technology company SprayPrinter. For this type of task the company uses robots, which can climb a building to print large graffitti. The robot is designed in such a way that it can spray five colors simultaneously to produce a full-color image.
Second graffitti made by Tata Steel
This is the second mural made by Tata Steel using robotic technology. The first graffitti painting of Naval Tata has been made at Naval Tata Hockey Academy in Jamshedpur. It was unveiled during the inauguration of the Naval Tata Hockey Academy building on March 2 this year.
