Jamshedpur, July 5: Tata Steel, India’s leading steel producer and a pioneer in the construction solutions industry, rolled out the first-ever fully automated construction service centre in Odisha.
This landmark facility, spanning across 11 acres in Tangi, Cuttack, has been created in partnership with Sagar Business Private Limited, a channel partner of Tata Steel.
Equipped with state-of-the-art automatic manufacturing facilities, the centre has a 3000 TPM capacity to produce customised cut and bend rebars.
Ashish Anupam, Chairperson, Marketing and Sales, Long Products, Tata Steel, inaugurated the centre recently. The event was followed by a customer meet in Bhubaneswar, which was attended by around sixty customers from infrastructure, housing and industrial sectors along with Tata Steel executives and members from the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) community of Odisha.
The centre marks a significant milestone in shaping the construction industry and positioning Tata Steel as a knowledge-intensive leader in the region. This ground-breaking initiative is set to revolutionise the reinforcement application in the construction sector and cater to the rapidly growing infrastructure demand in Odisha.
