Jamshedpur, June 15: South Eastern Railway has decided to restore the services of 18101/18102 Tatanagar-Jammu Tawi-Tatanagar Express with effect from July 1.
The most popular train between the two destinations will resume its journey from Tatanagar from July 1 and Jammu Tawi the train will resume its journey from July 4.
The Tatanagar-Jammu Tawi Express (18101) will leave Tatanagar every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 5.05 pm and will reach Jammu Tawi at 2.10 pm, on the third day.
In the opposite direction, 18102 Jammu Tawi-Tatanagar Express will leave Jammu Tawi every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 2.20 pm and will arrive in Tatanagar at 9.50 am on the third day.
The train with two AC 2-Tier, seven AC 3-Tier, seven sleeper classes and two general second class coaches will have stoppages at Chandil, Muri and Ramgarh Cantt. under the SER jurisdiction.
Chhotanagpur Passenger Association and several other passenger bodies hailed the railway’s decision to restore the train.
The train’s operation was stopped due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
