A resident of the Rammandir area in Chakradharpur, soon after stealing the gadget, the girl had boarded a train from Chakradharpur to Tatanagar in fear of the act of theft detected in the railway township.

Railway Protection Force (RPF) inspector, Tatanagar, Sanjay Kumar Tiwari said during the crime control checking at the station, a team of the railway police spotted a girl moving around in a suspicious way at the platform No 1 in the night.

“By carrying out further investigation, we found out that the railway quarter belonged to a train driver Indrajeet Mahanand and that he has already lodged an FIR with the Chakradharpur thana in connection to the mobile phone theft.
