Hyderabad, April 14: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao erected a 125-foot-tall bronze monument of BR Ambedkar in Hyderabad on Friday, to commemorate BR Ambedkar’s 132nd birthday. Ambedkar was the architect of the Indian Constitution. This statue in Hyderabad is India’s tallest statue of Ambedkar.

There were plans in place to guarantee that more than 35,000 individuals from all 119 constituencies attended the unveiling event, which was staged on a spectacular scale. Up to 750 buses run by the government’s Road Transport Corporation served the general population.
On the edges of Hyderabad’s renowned Hussain Sagar lake, close to the State Secretariat, is where the statue is located. KCR recently met with his ministers and other authorities to discuss the statue’s inauguration. A helicopter will then drop flower petals on the monument, according to a report from PTI.
Prakash Ambedkar, the only invited principal guest, was Ambedkar’s grandson.
