New Delhi, Dec 19: 12 Telangana leaders have left the recently established Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC). This event, which occurred early on Monday, is reportedly a reaction to ‘migrant’ leaders being appointed before senior party members.
Party leaders in Telangana are fighting among themselves as a result of it.
The leaders stated that K Chandrashekar Rao, the state’s chief minister, had been imposing a dictatorial regime in their resignation letters. They continued by saying that KCR needed to be overthrown by a vigorous uprising. Additionally among the departing members is Telangana MLA Seethakka.
According to the letter’s additional information, former chief minister and Lok Sabha MP Chandrababu Naidu said that more than 50% of the newly elected PCC members were figures who had just defected from the Telugu Desam Party. Additionally, it was said in the letter that this had disappointed leaders who had served in Congress for the previous six years.
