Rajouri, June 2: In an encounter with security personnel early on Friday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district, a terrorist was killed, officials said.
The encounter was reported in the district’s Dassal forest, according to officials.
“A terrorist was killed in the encounter in Rajouri’s Dassal forest area,” Army officials said.
“A search operation in the area is underway,” they added.
More information is awaited.
Earlier, two terrorists connected to the banned group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were detained along with weapons and ammunition on Thursday in Baramulla.
