RANCHI: Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday described the Jharkhand Assembly elections as a pivotal moment to “save Jharkhand” and called on people to vote for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and NDA candidates to ensure the state’s prosperity and security.
Chouhan criticized the JMM-Congress government, accusing it of betraying the people of Jharkhand. “Jharkhand’s youth have been deceived in the name of employment, and women are unsafe under this government. The state’s resources are being overtaken by infiltrators, law and order is in shambles, and rampant corruption is causing immense suffering to the people,” he said.

A Call for a Secure and Prosperous Jharkhand
The minister urged voters to step out and cast their ballots to ensure a brighter future. “A BJP-NDA government will transform Jharkhand, making it safe, prosperous, and free from infiltrators. People are angry with the JMM-Congress alliance and are choosing BJP-NDA candidates for a better future,” Chouhan said.
He added, “This is your chance to change Jharkhand’s destiny. Together, we can bring about the development and security the state deserves.”
Chouhan expressed confidence in the BJP-NDA’s success, stating that voters are rejecting the “corrupt and anti-people coalition” of JMM and Congress, ensuring a decisive victory for the BJP-NDA in the elections.
