Three-day Jamshedpur Carnival to kick-off from today, bollywood singer to perform

Jamshedpur, Jan 6: It’s carnival time once again in Jamshedpur. The three-day  Jamshedpur Carnival, a mega event will begin at the Gopal Maidan in Bistupur this evening.  The carnival will continue till January 8.

The carnival will feature band performances, dance performances, Sa Re Ga Ma – a vocal music competition, Master Chef Competition, Game Zones for children, mouth-watering food counters and a final concluding performance by Neeraj Shridhar, a Bollywood celebrity artist and composer of the Bombay Vikings and Bhool Bhulaiya fame on January 8 ( 8.30 pm ).

The carnival will begin at 5:30 pm today. There will be a short and brief inaugural before the show starts which will be done by Ritu Raj Sinha, VP (Corporate Services ) and managing director, Tata Steel UISL (formerly Jusco).

After that, there will be a  band performance by a local artist Rozario. From 7:30 pm onwards Band Swarathma from Bengaluru will perform. Entry to the carnival is free. The visitors will not be asked to produce any entry passes.
