Sukma, March 21: Three CRPF jawans were injured in an exchange of fire with Naxals near Elmagunda camp in Sukma district, early on Monday morning. The incident occurred approximately 12 kilometres from the new Chintagufa Elmagunda police station.
Bastar IG P Sundarraj said that the injured jawans were stable and would soon be shifted to a better-equipped medical centre for further treatment.
Hemant Chowdhary, Basappa Ramesh, and Lalit Bhag were among the injured jawans.
