Daltonganj, April 16: Goggles and gamchha were given away to around 60 traffic cops in Daltonganj on Saturday evening.
The anti-heat gadgets were given by the wife of the SP Palamu Chandan Kumar Sinha, Kanchan Singh who is the deputy director of the state social welfare department and an active member of the IPS officers’ wives association.
Palamu hogs the limelight every summer as here mercury soars as high as 44 degree Celsius.
Last Thursday only, the temperature was as high as 42.4 degree Celsius.
