Jamshedpur, Sept 30: Train services in the South Eastern Railway zone were affected due to waterlogging of tracks at Tikiapara near Howrah, caused by heavy rain during the last 24 hours.
Several trains were short-terminated at Santragachi and Shalimar railway stations.
The Titlagarh – Howrah Special which left Titlagarh yesterday will be short-terminated at Santragachi. Similarly, Puri -Howrah Special will be short-terminated at Santragachi.
The Mumbai CSMT-Howrah Special was also short-terminated at Santragachi.
The Barbil – Howrah Special which left Barbil yesterday was short- terminated at Santragachi.
The Howrah-Puri Special scheduled to leave Howrah today originated from Santragachi instead of Howrah.
The Howrah-Mumbai CSMT Special will short originate from Santragachi today instead of Howrah.
The Howrah-LTT Special short originated from Santragachi today instead of Howrah.
Both the Howrah-Mumbai and Howrah-LTT special trains travel via Tatanagar railway station.
The Howrah-Ranchi Special short originated from Santragachi instead of Howrah last night.
The Howrah-Ahmedabad Special short originated from Santragachi instead of Howrah past midnight.
The Howrah-Chakradharpur Bokaro Steel City Special scheduled to leave Howrah today will short originate from Santragachi instead of Howrah.
Trains originating from Shalimar will be given two minutes stoppage at Santragachi.
