Two die, two sustain serious injuries in road accident in Ramgarh

Ramgarh: Two people have died in a horrific road accident early in the morning on Saturday in Maganpur on the Ramgarh-Gola road in the district. The two people, who were also seriously injured, have been sent to Ranchi for better treatment.

Bodies of two have been sent for postmortem.

According to reports, the victims, who belonged to Chandankyari, had gone to the house of Dev Kumar Singh, a resident of Chhattar Mandu under the Ramgarh police station, to offer ‘Tilak’ for the girl’s marriage. While returning, the Hyundai car collided with a JCB machine at Maganpur in Gola police station area. Out of five people sitting in the car, two people died on the spot while two people were seriously injured. Incidentally, a child in the car escaped safely.

According to the Gola police, Gaurav Kumar, a resident of Dhanbad and Rani Devi, a resident of Chhattar Mandu, have died in this road accident. Saroj Devi and Heroj Kumar were seriously injured. Rani Devi’s last rites performed at Chhattar Mandu this afternoon. On the other hand, the body of Gaurav Kumar, who died in the accident, has been kept in Ramgarh Sadar Hospital. His last rites will be performed after the arrival of his family members.
