Ramgarh, April 23: A horrific road accident took place near Dhamna Tand village on Saturday midnight. There was a massive collision between two LP trucks. In this accident, both the LP truck drivers died tragically on the spot. The deceased driver was identified as Virender Kumar of Itkhori, Chatra and Rampravesh Yadav, a resident of Koshirukhi Nawada, Bihar.
LP truck number JH 02B K 9780 was going to Bengal with coal but had a direct collision with LP truck number JH 09BC 4187 going from Bokaro to Ranchi with loaded cement. The collision was so strong that both the vehicles crashed badly. The drivers of both trucks were trapped in the vehicle. The local people informed the police about this.
Relief work was started after about half an hour after the accident. After much effort, both drivers were pulled out. By then both had died. Ramgarh-Bokaro road was jammed after the incident. Traffic resumed smoothly after the accident vehicles were towed to the side.
Police seized both vehicles and sent the bodies for postmortem. Both the drivers could not guess the sharp turn. The local people told that both the vehicles were at a very high speed and both could not guess the sharp turn. Because of this, the accident happened. It was told that often accidents happen at this place. Local villagers have demanded to give accident signs here.
