Jamshedpur, Aug 2: The body of a 30-year-old man was found lying near Kaliasole Goshala along the Parsudih-Sundernagar road under the Parsudih thana area on Wednesday morning.

The body which is yet to be identified appears to be that of a murder victim as his head was bludgeoned with a boulder.

On the right hand of the victim is a tattoo reading ‘Maa’ in Hindi and another tattoo mentioning ‘SK’ on the left hand.

The deceased was in shorts and a T-shirt and seemed to be from a moderate family.

The OC, Parsudih Thana said this to be a case of murder and stated they are trying to get the body identified for unravelling the mystery behind the murder.

Police have shifted the body to the MGM medical college mortuary for postmortem after letting it lie on the spot for a couple of hours, expecting someone to identify it.

Police suspect assailants must have bludgeoned the man to death sometime in the night.
