UP: Car accident in Pilibhit kills four, CM Yogi expresses grief

Pilibhit, Sep 3: Four persons, including three ladies, were killed and two others suffered critical injuries in a terrible traffic accident on NH-731 in Pilibhit, UP, after their car hit a parked pick-up. The horrible event took place early on Sunday morning.

As the family was driving from Lucknow to Nainital, the accident occurred.

The police arrived at the scene after receiving information from local residents and proceeded to extract the occupants from the vehicle.

In a press release, the state’s Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, expressed sorrow over the fatalities in the car accident and sent his sympathies to the bereaved family. He also wished for the departed people’s souls to find rest.

CM Yogi gave the district administration officials the instructions to transfer the injured to the hospital right away so they may receive the required care. He also hoped for their quick recovery, the press release stated.
