Vedanta , ArcelorMittal select 8 mining and chemical  engineering students of BIT, Sindri

Dhanbad, March 15: Vedanta Limited and ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel have selected eight students of  Birsa Institute of Technology (BIT)  Sindri chemical and mining engineering departments.

BIT  Sindri professor in-charge of the training and placement cell  Dr Ghanshyma  Kumar said that in the span of five days  Vedanta and ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel have selected four students each from the chemical and the mining engineering departments.

“Today Vedanta has selected  Varsha Agrawal, Richa Kumari and Megha Kumari ( all from the chemical engineering department). Earlier on March 9, ArcelorMittal Nippon  Steel had picked up four students- Raju Mandal, Vishal Kumar, Apoorv Ashish Parmar and  Sujit Kumar Chourasia (mining engineering department).

Congratulating the students over their selection, BIT Sindri director  DK Singh wished them luck for their future endeavors.
“I would like to extend my sincere regards and gratitude to Vedanta and ArcelorMittal Nippon  Steel for providing this opportunity to BIT students and conducting a smooth virtual hiring process,”  said the director.
Singh also praised Training and Placement coordinator of BIT Sindri Prof  Ghanshyam Kumar and his team for their continuous efforts towards the growing placement and statistics of the institution.
