Voting for Gurudwara Pradhan begins at Ramgarh

Ramgarh, Nov, 30: The election for the post of President (Pradhan) of Gurudwara Shri Gurusingh Sabha, Ramgarh for the session 2021-24 started at 8:30 am on Tuesday and is scheduled to conclude at 2.30 p.m.

 

Baba Ji Gurjit Singh of Gurdwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha started the election process by performing the Guru Maryada Ardas.

 

415 voters of Guru Singh Sabha will elect the head. Baljit Singh Bedi, Raminder Singh Gandhi and Paramdeep Singh Kalra are in the fray for the post of President in the election.

 

Sardar Pritpal Singh Chhabra cast the first vote. The voting process is going smoothly so far.

 

Supporters of the three contesting candidates were seen busy wooing voters outside the polling booth.

 

Voting is going on under the supervision of Election Steering Committee in-charge Narendra Singh Chaman, members Inderpal Singh Chhabra, Gurjit Singh Saluja, Harmendra Singh Jolly, and Narendra Singh Gujral. Counting of ballot papers will start by 3:30 once the voting concludes.
