Dhanbad, May 11: After completion of two-day parole, Wasseypur gangster Fahim Khan was sent back to Hotwar jail in Ranchi in the late afternoon of Wednesday amidst tight police cover.
Fahim Khan, who is facing life imprisonment, was on two-day parole from May 10 to May 11 to attend the marriage ceremony of his younger daughter Jannat in Dhanbad Railway Club on Tuesday night.
Since his rival gang in Wasseypur, the murder accused absconder Prince Khan (his niece) had threatened to eliminate him (Fahim Khan), heavy security was deployed by police administration at Dhanbad Railway Club and Wasseypur area as a precaution measure. He expressed gratitude to the police administration for providing him parole to attend the marriage of his daughter and helping in completing the function successfully.
While talking to media persons before departure to Ranchi Hotwar jail, Fahim Khan said that he had received countless threats in the past 40 years and never took that seriously. When he was asked about threatening Prince Khan, the Wasseypur gangster said that now police would see him.
A few days ago, Prince Khan, a named accused in several murders and extortion charges, had threatened via a video clipping to kill him (Fahim Khan) and his family when the gangster would come out from jail to attend the marriage of his daughter.
After life imprisonment was sentenced to Fahim Khan, his son Iqbal Khan and nephew Prince Khan are engaged in a bloody war for supremacy over the Wasseypur crime world.
