Jamshedpur, Feb 10: Bokaro, Ramgarh, Deoghar, Giridih, Daltonganj, Jamshedpur and several other places in northern, central and southern Jharkhand were experiencing intermittent rains since last night due to the impact of a western disturbance passing through northern parts of the country.
In some places, the rain was accompanied by lightning and thunder.
Overcast condition prevailed in most parts of the state on Thursday due to dense cloud cover caused by the impact of the western disturbance and an induced cyclonic circulation.
Weathermen said that the inclement weather condition would continue today.
Weather condition is expected to improve tomorrow as the cloud cover would get clear.
Met officials said the minimum temperature would witness a rise due to the clouds while day temperature would witness a downward trend.
