Jamshedpur, Feb 23: A fresh western disturbance brewing in the northern parts of the country is likely to impact Jharkhand’s weather this weekend, said weathermen today.
Weathermen said the western disturbance would primarily impact the western Himalayan region around February 25, Saturday.
No significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand for the next two days. Only westerly to north-westerly wind would prevail over the state.
A partly cloudy sky in southern parts is expected this weekend with the possibility of light rain.
The weather is in a transition phase. Most places across the state would witness a rising trend in day temperature. The night reading would also witness a rising trend.
Statistics reveal that several places including Jamshedpur, Daltonganj and Chaibasa in West Singhhum recorded over 35 degree Celsius in the past 24 hours.
The minimum temperature hovered between 12 and 15 degree Celsius during the past 24 hours in most parts of the state.
