Jamshedpur, Sept 7: While the Tamil Nadu minister Udayanidhi Stalin has recently come to the centre of a storm for making an offending statement on Sanatana Dharma, the issue needs a bigger religious perspective to be delved into by both by the minister and the kinds as well as by the saffron brigade.
If the junior Stalin has spoken out something unpleasant and insulting to as vibrant religion as Sanatan Dharma from a public platform, the man must not be alone in such misadventure, especially when the agenda is openly aimed at targeting a specific religion.
“Then let me know the reason behind the misadventure. Was Udayanidhi Stalin and the group behind him afraid of the growing popularity of Hinduism? Or the minister and the group think Hinduism or Sanatan Dharma is not a religion at all and thus be eradicated, ” queried Sanjay Kumar, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) state head of the outfit’s propaganda cell while talking to lagatar24.com.
Pondering for an answer, the VHP leader wanted to know if Sanatan Dharma is of little significance and its followers are idiots then why did the famous American theoretical physicist Robert Oppenheimer choose to become an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna?
“Had Oppenheimer’s parents not taught him to follow Christ’s principle since childhood? Or the great scientist had in the course of time realised that Christ would hardly possess any miraculous power like Lord Krishna or Lord Rama would possess?” quipped the VHP leader, expecting a proper reply from the junior Stalin and the Group.
Sanjay Kumar pointed out that Both Rama and Krishna were great icons of social justice that reflected through their deeds during their incarnation in this world thousands of years ago. Further, he said, Oppenheimer was immensely influenced by Lord Krishna and had become a devotee.
“To go through the original version of Geeta, Oppenheimer had learnt Sanskrit by going over to Germany. And in the later stage and during the period he tested the atom bomb in the year 1937, the scientist had to recite the verses of Bhagwat Geeta each time he surged ahead in making the bomb. This all is still available on the internet,” said the saffron leader.
Moreover, Sanjay Kumar wanted to know if all the scientists and engineers come up together, can they build a 48-kilometre-long pillarless bridge in the ocean like Lord Rama’s devotees including primates had succeeded in building by taking his name 7,000 years ago.
“Lord Rama had taken birth 7,000 years ago and had lived here divinely. The miraculous Rameswaram Setu, now called Adam’s Bridge, which he had set up while launching an attack on Ravana in Sri Lanka is still there. One can see its image on the internet, ” he stated.
“I respect all religions, but I was at a loss when someone suddenly dared to speak against my religion; it hurt me the most like crores of other Sanatanis,” said Sanjay Kumar. He then went on to pose a question: “Does a great scientist like Oppenheimer turning to Lord Krishna in devotion instead of Christ mean anything to the ‘intelligent’ Tamil Nadu minister and the group? I would like my question answered, and if possible, they can consult the Fathers, the Bishops or the Pope from the Churches across the world or even the Vatican City”.
Udayanidhi Stalin had recently at a public function in Chennai called for the eradication of Sanatan Dharma after equating the great religion with diseases like Covid, dengue and malaria.
