Jamshedpur, Dec 13: XLRI’s Ex-PGDM Batch of 2021-22 held its maiden event Avensis-International CEO Conclave on a virtual platform.
According to the Indian time zone, the event concluded on Saturday night.
It was graced by many prominent speakers such as R. Gopalakrishnan CEO The Mindworks, Naman Shrivastava CEO Global Governance Initiative, Pankaj Gupta, founder and Co-CEO Gulf Islamic investments and Gaurav Biswas, founder and CEO Trukker, Arjun Mohan CEO Upgrad and Premal Desai , Dy CEO Evolutionizer.
The session was inaugurated by professor H.K. Pradhan of XLRI where he shed the light on the changing scenario of jobs and skills, followed by professor Jittu Singh’s welcome speech who talked about how the business world has changed and their impact now.
He also spoke about how several Fortune 500 companies (of the 1950s) did not survive the century.
The chief guest of the session R Gopalakrishnan, CEO, The Mindworks talked about the importance of AQ (Adapadibility Quotient), shedding light on qualities of leadership qualities leaders should develop.
It was followed by a session by keynote speaker Rajeeva Bandaranaike who talked about the stock exchanges and economic development – an overview of the modern-day exchange.
This was followed by a panel discussion by Pankaj Gupta, founder and co-CEO, Gulf Islamic Investments and Gaurav Biswas, founder and CEO Trukker moderated by professor Trilochan Tripathy of the B-school.
A discussion on how their journey started from a nascent idea to startup, what challenges and responsibilities faced, learnings from them, making opportunities out of the difficulties.
