Mumbai, Jan 2: Sheezan Khan’s lawyer, Adv. Shailendra Mishra and his sisters Falaq Naaz, Shafaq Naaz and his mother, spoke up for the first time after facing several allegations. They held a press conference and spoke to the media about the case.
Addressing Tunisha’s family’s charges, Sheezan’s family told the media that these were baseless and allegations of love jihad and black magic were sad.
Sheezan’s advocate said, “Tunisha was very happy with the time she spent with Sheezan’s family. Tunisha’s so-called uncle Pawan Sharma was her former manager, he was fired 4 yrs ago because he used to interfere a lot & behave harshly with her. All these allegations have also been made by that so-called uncle only.”

Sheezan’ s advocate also claimed that Tunisha & Sanjeev Kaushal (an uncle in Chandigarh) had terrible relations. Sanjeev Kaushal & her mother, Vanita used to control Tunisha’s finances. Tunisha often pleaded in front of her mother for her own money.”
“Tunisha used to panic a lot upon hearing name of Sanjeev Kaushal. On instigation of Sanjeev Kaushal, Tunisha’s mother broke her phone & tried to strangulate her. Sanjeev Kaushal & Tunisha’s mother used to control Tunisha’s life,” he added.

The family also addressed the love jihad allegations made by Tunisha’s mother.
Sheezan’s sister and Co-actor Shafaq Naaz said, “All these talks about hijab, dargah are baseless. The picture of Tunisha in hijab being circulated is from the set of the show which was part of the shoot. It can be seen. We never made her wear hijab, it was from the channel.”

Sheezan’s sister and Co-actor Falaq Naaz said, “Sheezan didn’t have any other girlfriend. That girl was called for recording her statement. There’s no secret girlfriend.”
“Tunisha’s mother accepted that she has been neglecting Tunisha & that she didn’t take care of her. Tunisha’s depression was due to her childhood trauma,” she added.

Later, Sheezan Khan’s mother said, “Tunisha’s mother Vanita disrespected us a lot but we will maintain our dignity. Vanita also accused Sheezan of slapping Tunisha. If your child is being tortured on sets like this, will you just sit and talk on phone?
“Vanita has lost her only child and her lawyer was busy taking power of attorney. Your mission should only be to find out why your child took this step. How can a mother do this? I also want justice for her because she was like a daughter to me too. On the other hand, my son, who is innocent, is in jail. Vanita is after him. What do you want Vanita ji? Your daughter has committed suicide, do you want my son to commit suicide too? You are torturing him,” she added.
While Sheezan continues to be under police custody after the actress hanged herself in the make-up room of her co-star and former boyfriend Sheezan Mohammed Khan on December 24. The actor’s judicial custody has been extended for 14 days, after he was arrested for allegedly abetting the suicide of Tunisha Sharma.
