Jharkhand cadre IPS officer gets another year of central deputation in CBI

Ranchi, June 23: The central deputation of Jharkhand cadre IPS Michel Raj S has been extended for another one year. His tenure of the central deputation was set to end the next year. He is currently posted as DIG of Anti-Corruption Branch of the CBI in Ranchi.

A 2006 batch IPS he so far has served five years on the central deputation and he remained posted in the CBI. This is going to be the sixth year of his central deputation. Jharkhand Police and the state Home Department gave the nod for extension to his central deputation.

A native of Tamil Nadu he remained posted at Chennai branch of the CBI. Currently there are 19  Jharkhand cadre IPS officers who are on the central deputation.
