Dhanbad, Nov 18: A social activist has lodged a complaint against film actress Kangana Ranaut in the court of chief judicial magistrate (CJM) Dhanbad on Thursday pleading for the order to file an FIR as her statements have hurt people’s feelings in the country.
The petitioner has charged that the film actress has hurt the sentiment of people by giving statements against the identity and freedom of the country. He urged the court to give an order of lodging an FIR against her as police have refused to entertain his case.
The court of CJM Sanjay Kumar after hearing the petition on Thursday ordered an inquiry in the matter.
Izhar Ahmed Bihari, the social activist of Jharia said that he had lodged a complaint against the film actress at Dhanbad Sadar police station three days ago. When police did not file an FIR, he moved to the court for an order for lodging the same. “ I have trust in the court and hope he will get justice,” said Izhar.
In an interview after getting the Padma Shri award, Kangana Ranaut allegedly had said that India got freedom in 1947 in donation (‘bheekh’) and that the country got real freedom in 2014.
Izhar Ahmed Bihari denied that he has filed a complaint against the film actress for publicity and said that he did it as her statement against the country has hurt him most. “ Her statement has lowered the prestige of the country,” he said.
