Ranchi, July 1: The doctors narrated their memoirs and presented songs and music on the occasion of National Doctors’ Day on Friday at Bhagwan Mahavir Medica Superspecialty Hospital.
It was a two hour programme in which doctors turned artists after they were praised for their dedicated service in the medical field.
Medical director of the hospital, Dr Vijay Mishra, while addressing the function said that there is no need to tell how important the role of a doctor is in human life.
“In our country the doctor is given the status of God realising their importance,” he said.
“In the last two-three years i.e. during the Corona period, the doctors discharged their duty honestly without caring about their lives like ‘frontline warriors’. This is the reason why doctors are being appreciated everywhere today. All the organisations are honoring and felicitating the doctors,” Dr Mishra added.
Advisor of Medica Hospital, Dr Anand Srivastava, said that during the Corona period doctors have left an indelible mark in the society by setting an example of service. “There is such a debt of doctors in society, which can never be repaid,” he said.
Senior Renal Specialist Dr Pankaj Mishra highlighted this year’s theme ‘Family Doctors on Front Line’. Earlier, the doctors were welcomed by giving flowers. All the doctors of the hospital, GM and senior management officials were present in the ceremony.
