Ranchi, July 20: A two-day research and writing workshop for students and professors of Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) concluded on Wednesday. The resource people included Dr Samir Kumar Praharaj, professor of psychiatry at KMC, Manipal and Dr Shahul Ameen, editor of the Indian Journal of Psychological Medicine from Kerala.
The workshop was launched on July 19 by the Director of CIP, who emphasised the value of conducting academic research and producing papers in the fields of psychiatry and social sciences.
More than 120 people attended the session each day. Over the course of two days, participants were taught several facets of scientific inquiry and writing.
